Adam has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the leadership of real estate investment firms. Before joining Spectra, from 2013 to 2022, he served as Chief Operating Officer of EcoVest Capital. This real estate investment sponsor raised and deployed more than $750 million of investor capital into a diverse portfolio of development opportunities throughout the United States. Adam was responsible for developing and managing all operations of the firm from its inception, building from scratch the firm’s origination, underwriting, finance, asset management, and legal teams. From 2020 through 2022, he also served on the Board of Managers and Investment Committee at Impact Housing, a joint venture between Place Properties and EcoVest Capital focused on developing affordable workforce housing utilizing modern volumetric modular construction.

Before joining EcoVest Capital, Adam was Vice President of Operations at Wells Real Estate Funds, a REIT sponsor that raised and deployed $12 billion of investor capital into Class A office assets. During his 10-year tenure at Wells, Adam held various accounting, finance, and operations positions. He worked directly with executive management in acquisitions, asset management, property management, sales, marketing, investor relations, and information technology to define and track key performance indicators to measure success.

Adam is co-founder and current board member of Corners Outreach, a non-profit organization focused on improving educational and employment outcomes for title one school families in Gwinnett, Dekalb, and Fulton Counties in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a BS in Accounting and Management from Lipscomb University and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Georgia State University.

Aftab brings over 40 years of international real estate and infrastructure investment experience. Aftab is a member of the illustrious Adamjee family of Pakistan. The Adamjee Group has been respected and trusted in the Indian subcontinent's business community for over a century.

Aftab has served on the board of several companies. He was the founding Chairman of Tricom Solar Power (Pvt) Ltd and Tricom Wind Power (Pvt) Ltd. Both projects are 50 M.W. each and has been set up in Jhimpir, Pakistan, with a total investment of approximately $105 million. Aftab is the founder, sponsor, and cornerstone investor in The Golden Caravel Fund F.C.R. based in Lisbon, Portugal, a €35 million fund regulated by the CMVM and was incorporated in May 2021 for investors to acquire residency in Portugal. The fund is managed by Grosvenor House of Investments SCR, S.A., and the Fund advisor is Square Asset Management 11, the largest real estate fund manager in Portugal.

Aftab enjoys volunteering and charitable activities and is currently serving as a member and benefactor of the Foundation for the Museum of Modern Arts in Karachi. He recently sponsored the establishment of state-of-the-art Radiology and dental Departments at Marie Adelaide Leprosy Hospital and a Maths Laboratory at Habib University Karachi, all located in Karachi. He is the first platinum sponsor of the Teach for Pakistan program (in collaboration with Teach for America) and a Partner with Acumen Fund USA. From 2006 to 2022, he held several positions within Place Properties, a full-service owner, developer, and manager of multi-family and student housing. Andrew served most recently as Managing Director for the company. During this tenure, he participated in the development, acquisition, and disposition of projects involving more than 21,000 student, military, and workforce housing beds. Andrew’s responsibilities included managing the company’s corporate operations, including its related property management business, and he was also significantly involved in capital-raising activities for the company.

As portfolio manager for Ecovest’s series of annual vintage funds, Jed originated investment opportunities and deployed more than $100 million of capital into projects with an asset value exceeding $500 million across multiple asset types and geographies.

From 2020 to 2022, he served on the Board of Managers and Investment Committee for Impact Housing, a joint venture between Place Properties and EcoVest Capital focused on developing affordable workforce housing utilizing modern volumetric modular construction. Jed served as the Vice President of Strategy and Finance at Columbia Property Trust, a $6 billion real estate investment trust, where he led and participated in more than $3 billion of capital markets activity on behalf of the company. Before that, he was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Wells Real Estate Funds for more than six years, managing strategic initiatives and portfolio management activities on behalf of multiple real estate portfolios totaling more than $12 billion.

He spent three years at EcoVest Capital, where Daniel led and facilitated real estate acquisition and development projects, project due diligence, financial analysis, market research, and presentation development. He was also charged with leading EcoVest’s underwriting processes for its real estate private equity function and played a leading role in the asset management of existing investments.

Daniel assisted in the construction of a $100 million equity portfolio that included investments in multifamily, seniors housing, land development, office, retail, and modular manufacturing. Daniel also worked at Portman Holdings, a legacy real estate developer in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time with Portman, Daniel underwrote and facilitated design for over $2 billion of commercial and residential development opportunities in the United States. Before transitioning to a career in commercial real estate, he was a management consultant at FTI Consulting.

Michael Cohen has 10+year experience in real estate investment and finance. Prior to Spectra, Michael most recently served as Vice President at RealtyMogul, a leading crowdfunding platform for private real estate investment where he maintained a network of sponsors throughout the country and secured allocations in their deals on the platform. During his two-year tenure at the company, Michael closed five transactions across multiple states and asset classes with a gross asset value of $230 million. 

From 2018-2021, Michael has served as Vice President of Miramar Holdings Real Estate, the real estate investment platform of the John and Cele Carpenter family investment office in Dallas, Texas. Miramar, through a variety of joint ventures, owns a real estate portfolio of approximately 30 positions with over $150 million inequity deployed and a gross asset value of over $800 million. During his time there, Michael participated in investments across a variety of strategies and asset classes including multifamily (value-add repositioning, merchant-build development, build-to-core development and covered land), industrial(merchant-build development and value-add portfolio aggregation), and net-leased retail (programmatic merchant-build development), among others. During his time at Miramar, Michael participated in the acquisition/management of 3,400 multifamily units, development of 600 multifamily units as well as the acquisition of 2.0 million SF of industrial product and development of an additional 500,000 SF plus a number of other projects with a combined capitalization of over $1.0 billion. 

From 2014-2018, Michael worked at Royal Bank of Canada in a group that provided mortgage and mezzanine financing to top-tier global and national private equity sponsors, working on over $2.0 billion of closed financing secured by institutional-grade real estate across the US, Europe and Australia. 

Michael graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business in the esteemed Canfield Business Honors Program.
